If you are preparing this drink for a dinner party one way to really knock it out of the park, and provide the perfect chilled rink is to put the tea in the fridge to let it cool. Then about half an hour before your party begins put the pitcher in the freezer. This will bring down the core temperature and will ensure that the ice cubes don't melt right away. This avoids watering down your drink, while still having a cold beverage ready for your guests!
