Easy Grilled Chick Breast is so simple to prepare, with just a few changes, you will find that there are dozens, maybe hundreds of ways to season it. We intend to show a few of the most surprising of them here.
This one is best done with bone in chicken breasts. You can peal the skin off if you like.
Put a pint of Sour Cream in a medium bowl add a package of dry Onion Soup mix. Optionally you can add fresh herbs and garlic if you like. Mix well.
Lightly pepper your chicken breasts, don't salt, there is plenty of salt in the soup mix. Coat the chicken breasts liberally with the mixture, then put on a cooking rack placed onto a cookie sheet, so that the heat from the oven reaches all parts of Chicken Breasts.
Oven grill them for 20 minutes at 375′F or until an instant read thermometer in the thickest part of the Chicken Breast reaches 165′F.
Let the chicken breasts rest for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. The internal temperature will continue to rise while resting. It will probably rise to 175′F.
As surprising as this recipe is, an even more surprising, tasty alternative to the sour cream, onion mixture is peanut butter. Either crunchy or smooth will work. This one is less savory, so I wouldn't suggest mixing with garlic or herbs. I haven't tried it myself, it's just that kind of sweet and savory mixture doesn't seem tasty to me. If you do try it that way, please let me know what you think.
