1. Cheese and Pesto Grilled Sandwich
What you need:
  • 1 slice American cheese
  • 1 slice provolone cheese
  • 2 slices red tomato
  • 1 tablespoon prepared pesto sauce
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter
  • 2 slices Italian bread
Spread butter onto one side of the first bread slice and heat it on a pre-heated grill, buttered side down over medium low heat. Spread half of the pesto sauce on top of the bread slice then layer American cheese slice, tomato slices and provolone cheese slice. Spread the remaining pesto sauce on one side of the second slice of bread and place it pesto-side down onto the sandwich. Spread butter on top of the bread slice. Flip once and grill for 3-5 minutes until cheese has melted and bread is golden brown.
2. Grilled Maple Turkey and Bacon Sandwich
What you need:
  • 3 strips bacon, cooked
  • 1/2 cup deli style maple turkey, cooked
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard
  • 2 slices black raisin bread
Butter one side of one bread slice then layer with 2 slices of Swiss cheese, maple turkey and bacon strips. Drizzle with honey mustard then add the remaining slices of Swiss cheese. Spread one side of the other bread slice with butter and place it butter-side down onto the sandwich. Spread the outer sides of both slices with remaining butter then cut sandwich in half. Using a grill pan, cook in a pre-heated grill over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or when cheese starts to melt.
3. Grilled Tropical Chicken Sandwich
What you need:
  • 2 boneless and skinless chicken breast halves
  • 4 pieces canned pineapple rings
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey mustard
  • 2 sandwich rolls, split
Cook the chicken breast halves and the pineapple rings on a pre-heated grill over medium high heat, brushing with honey mustard occasionally until cooked through and grill marks appear. Allow a few minutes to cool. When ready, place a chicken breast on each half of the sandwich rolls then top with 2 pineapple rings each and slices of red bell pepper. Serve immediately.
