Beef and Quinoa Recipes

Beef is such a great addition for quinoa recipes, these two ingredients complement each other well plus you are getting high-quality protein for every serving.

These are the ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
¾ cup cooked quinoa
¼ cup finely chopped onions
¼ cup finely chopped carrots
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon soy sauce
½ teaspoon ground black or white pepper
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon fresh or dried oregano
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
1 egg (this will serve as your binder)
Preheat your oven to 500°F and line your large baking sheet with foil. Make sure you grease it with cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix beef, quinoa, onions, carrots, ketchup, garlic, soy sauce, pepper, salt, oregano, thyme and egg until well combined. Shape beef mixture into balls (whatever size you prefer) and put them to prepared baking sheet. Roast until golden brown (approximately 12 to 15 minutes). Of all the quinoa recipes that I have ever tried, this is the most delicious treat that the crowd simply loves.
Beef broccoli with quinoa. You will need:
2 cups cooked quinoa
½ pound lean beef (cut into strips)
½ tablespoon soy sauce
½ tablespoon fish sauce
1 ½ tablespoon oyster sauce
½ teaspoon cornstarch
Few drops of olive oil
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon cooking wine
1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
1 head Broccoli
Marinade the meat using 3rd to 7th ingredient for about 2 or 3 hours. Stir fry the beef with about ¼ cup of cooking oil and cook until meat is tender. Add the broccoli and pour a little bit of water. Keep stirring until everything is cooked. Top quinoa with beef broccoli and serve immediately.
