The good news about avocados is that they are tasty, but at the same time they are mild. This means that they will make a great base for a ton of different salads.
You can combine avocado with garlic, tomatoes, onions and lime juice and make guacamole that you can serve with corn chips. Or, you can combine it with cilantro, cucumbers and lemon juice and make a completely different salad.
The basic idea of this salad recipe is to find a few ingredients that will taste great with the avocado and make a salad. Usually when you make an avocado salad, you need a tart citrus juice, such as lemon juice or lime juice to use in the salad. You will need for two reasons. One is that avocados will become dark very fast if you don't pour a tart juice on them as soon as you chop them. And the second one is that avocado tastes great with citrus juice!

Here are two recipes for you to prepare avocado salad:

1. Avocado and Tomato Salad.

Here is my take on guacamole, but in a form of a salad. This salad uses all the ingredients you will see in a guacamole, such as tomatoes, avocados, onions and lime juice, but instead of mashing them, you will chop them.

Here is how to make it. Chop the avocados. Drizzle lime juice on top of avocados to keep them from turning dark.Chop tomatoes and onions. Add them to avocados, mix. The salad is ready!

2. Avocado and Radish Salad.

Here is another interesting salad that I recently put together. It has radishes, avocados, feta cheese, dill, lime juice and onions. This salad is fabulous - it is rich and buttery because of the avocado, slightly spicy because of radishes and slightly salty because of feta. Combining them all together creates a fabulous salad.

The idea of this salad is simple - chop the avocados, add lime juice. Chop radishes, dill and onions and add to the salad. Sprinkle with feta and the salad is done!
